What is an Aura? Living organisms have a detectable electromagnetic field that surrounds them. It is not of the visible light spectrum, therefore most people cannot see it. The electromagnetic radiation that is of the aura is of a very high frequency. It is possible that you may have already experienced soem of the effects of your aura. Try this little experiment. Find a transitor radio. Turn it on. Tune it in to a station. Now walk around it. Assume different positions in the room. Come closer to the radio. Walk away. Notice anything? Most people notice the signal getting better or worse. Sometimes you can even change station without touching the dial. Another experiment that is fun to do os rub your hands together until you have lots of heat. Now slowly pull them apart and push them together again. Playwith any sensations that may arise. Some people experience tingling, pressure, or attraction. Now you may remember something: that as a child yuo were sort of daydreaming. The time is about dusk. It is too early to turn the lights on but too dark to see clearly. You happen to be looking at someone, prehaps it is your sister or your mam or someone yuo just met and don`t even know well. You just barely notice that a little area of light is around their shoulders and head an dit seems to move with them. You fallow it with your eyes in your soft and dreamy way, observing it with fascination. Then you may have a thought that people aren`t supposed to have a lights around them. Then you wake up from your daydream and the light disappears. You go about your daily business forgetting about the hallo of light you saw until now. Clairvoyants claim that they can see auras. Descriptions of this phenomenom are remarkably uniform in that psychics see the aura as misty hallo that has wisps and flares like the corona of the sun in an eclipse. They claim the aura has colors and variable textures as well. Until the invention of dicyanin screens and Kirlian photography most people had no way of seeing an aura. Dicyanin screens eliminate much of the light spectrum below the ultraviolet range and ojects viewed through these screens have a distinct halo around them. Kirlian photography amplifies and transforms the aura so that can be recorded on film. The remarkable thing about Kirlian photography is the image looks much as psychics describe the aura.
